It offers price comparisons in all areas on the portal, including consumer electronics, gardening tools, household goods, fashion, fitness, flights and much more. Users can search for a specific product, or filter a product category by characteristics. Test results, user opinions, price history and data sheets are provided for products. To provide users with additional information and criteria for making purchasing decisions, idealo also displays shipping costs, payment options, delivery and return conditions, reviews, as well as store seals and certificates.
The products are sorted by popularity by default, but can also be filtered by prices, delivery times and return costs. The lowest total price is highlighted. The product price comparison includes 220 million offers from 39,000 retailers.
