Maryam Ghahremani (Bambuser AB): Livestream Shopping

As physical retail meets new challenges, e-commerce is growing and is taking up an ever-larger share of total retail around the world. At the same time, video traffic on the Internet is growing explosively - and in particular live streaming. Bambuser was one of the pioneers with live streaming already in 2007, and in late 2019 the company launched Live Video Shopping which enables retail businesses to live stream and interact with their customers in real-time. In China, live video shopping generated $63 billion in sales.
